Solution to hide unsightly plumbing & provide waiting area
The little owl restaurant at 90 Bedford St. in Greenwich Village was one of the smallest restaurants I’d ever enjoyed a meal in. Their waiting area was built in an unusable corner of the dining space accessed by a small ladder so future patrons could sit on deep step like structure out of the cold while waiting for their table to free up. This structure was built to hid unattractive and unresolvable building elements, which gave way to a creative design solution.
Creatively designed TINY restaurant with functional needs, only in NYC!
