This loft style condo in Banker’s Hill is my second residential project with this client, a downsize from his first home.  A Corporate Executive who travels and needs a place to call home, we focused on providing a hotel feel bathroom while honing in on his interests & passions throughout the rest of the space.

The entertainment unit was custom designed and manufactured in Mexico along with all the floating and art gallery shelves.  In the Living Room, it was crucial we considered the 14′ high ceilings by 21′ long wall in order to maximize the area we had to work with.  Another critical aspect was to create a barrier between the kitchen and living room, so to provide the sense of a hallway space.

The dining table and office countertop was fabricated out of a carrara marble slab for coordination of finish materials.  We added an electric fireplace to the exterior wall in the living room and painted the pop-out a contrasting color to draw attention to it as a feature wall.

What can we say about Shane Bowden’s Renaissance Man?  An eye grabbing work of art that represents a man filled with love, hope and tenderness stands proud, centering our work and pulling us in for more.

All about the art!

Entry hallway opened up to accommodate a small desk space not otherwise capable in this small 1 bedroom loft condo.

Long Wall turned Art Gallery

Once a tired hallway now used as an office and art gallery for guests to enjoy on their way to the powder bathroom.

Simplistic kitchen with high contrasting materials suited for this bachelor pad condo.

Loft Apartment

The aluminum doors stack like barn doors in order to clear the large opening.

Once a tub / shower combo with a glass track door system.. Now, a luxurious size stand up shower with Newport Brass , Kohler & Toto fixtures.
